Grandbabies and More....

Hello Blog world it has been a while...

Things have been very busy around here since March.

Chloe and Damien had a new baby girl, it was not an easy time for their family.

Maddison Mercia Sutton 

was born very tiny and very early but also very perfect.

On the 22nd March

We refer to Maddison as our miracle baby..

Chloe now has 1 boy and 2 girls.

 Maddy is doing so well and is now 4 months old....

Her cousin wasn't far behind her.

Thomas Cameron Lawton

was born on the 

9th May

That makes 2 boys for Alanah

He is perfect and so cute.

Not easy keeping up with all these babies that's for sure....

Cassie turned 21 this year

and we had a great country party for her out at Glenmorgan.

I am so proud of the beautiful woman that she is growing into....

and you guessed it....

Grand-baby No 11 due in September...

Phoebe turned 1 in June

That year has gone so fast.....

David and family were down here for Phoebe's birthday

 which was a real treat for us.

I know I am so blessed to have such a large healthy happy family

God is good.

to our family....Sister to Mason, who thinks she is pretty special...

 Grand daughter No 4 and No 8 grandchild....Yep I'm pretty good...

I tried to get in as many cuddles as I could while I was there

because I don't know when I will get back.

Look at that little rose bud mouth.

This boy here....what can I say!

So much like his Father....cheeky but yet so dam cute...

We did the tourist thing while in Charters Towers and went out to see the long horns....

A couple of cowboys I found....

Charters being a Gold mining town we thought we should give it a go...

And yes they found gold..

We went to Magnetic Island as well on the weekend...

Did I mention we had wonderful weather the whole time.

William and Mason love the beach and being able to swim in winter.

Then it was time to head back on the ferry, which Mason loved taking the car on the boat....

David sure is a proud Dad of his new little daughter and son......I am so proud of the Father Davis is and the caring husband he is as well, I know his Dad would be very proud of him as well.

 All too soon it was time to go home....

I guess I will have to plan another trip to see all my children again sometime.....

Until then I better look after the ones still living at home.....

Mason....

We love to go for a week end drive, last week end we drove up to see a special little boy who turned 2 on the 18th..
It was a long drive up to Charters Towers 2am Friday morning we left and got there at 4:30pm.

But seeing this little face as he opened his presents was all worth it.

Lots of presents from his Aunties back home as well.
The balls for the trampoline were a real hit with Mason and Uncle Will.

I think Mason was geting sick of all the kisses but I had 4months worth to give him.

There was lots of swimming , this boy is a water baby and has no fear at all.

I think the cheaky photo of mason on the climbing Gym is my new favorite, look at that face.

Fun in the park was had by the big boys as well, I learnt something this week end...
EVERYTHING is a competition between brothers.....

All too soon it was time to leave this little family and go back home.

Being a long distance Grandma is hard, but every time we drive up the trip gets shorter and easier..So may be in a few more months we will go for another weekend drive.

Boy Time.......

Guess who has come home for a visit???

David and Mason have been here since Saturday.

Mason and Harry have had a wonderful time getting to know each other.

Most of all I am so thankful having this week with my son and grandson.

Getting to really know Mason has been so much fun, this little man has stolen my heart just like his 

Dad did 30 years ago.

Coffee and Reading.......

 

Hi all

So far we have had a wet Autumn, it has rained here solid for a week now and no sign of stopping. Last night all the bridges went under again so we are stuck.

Plenty of time for reading and coffee.

 

 

As you can see unless I have a boat I ain't going any where.

 

 

I did have a great time in Charters spending time with handsome man both of them small and tall.

I have to say I have waited a longgggggggg time for this grand baby, worth waiting for I think if even he was 8 years in the waiting...hahahahaha.

 

 

 

 

 

Here I am with my three little cherubs, they look nothing alike at all do they, Grace looks like her Mum(daughter), Harrison looks like his Dad(SIL) and Mason looks like his Mum (DIL)

We are now waiting for baby No 4 Jess is due middle of this month, then I can say I don't think there will be any more Baby due posts for a long time.

 

 

When the rain eases up a bit I will go down to the garden that is now a river and take some photos, I may be blogging all week end not much else to do.lol

A Quick weekend.......

I,m here in Charters Towers meeting my newest Grandson Mason.

Spending time with his amazing parents David and Karen.

I am getting in as many kisses and cuddles as I can.

Soon I have to go home and it will be a while before I see Mason again.
