Grandbabies and More....

Hello Blog world it has been a while...

Things have been very busy around here since March.

Chloe and Damien had a new baby girl, it was not an easy time for their family.

Maddison Mercia Sutton
was born very tiny and very early but also very perfect.
On the 22nd March

We refer to Maddison as our miracle baby..

Chloe now has 1 boy and 2 girls.

Maddy is doing so well and is now 4 months old....

Her cousin wasn't far behind her.

Thomas Cameron Lawton
was born on the
9th May

That makes 2 boys for Alanah
He is perfect and so cute.

Not easy keeping up with all these babies that's for sure....

Cassie turned 21 this year
and we had a great country party for her out at Glenmorgan.

I am so proud of the beautiful woman that she is growing into....
and you guessed it....

Grand-baby No 11 due in September...

Phoebe turned 1 in June
That year has gone so fast.....

David and family were down here for Phoebe's birthday
which was a real treat for us.

I know I am so blessed to have such a large healthy happy family
God is good.

Blessings

Charlie is the happiest little boy and always has a smile for you.

Charlie had a great birthday party that his cousins had lots of fun at. There was face painting, which Abby and Grace loved.

The pinata was a real hit....

and whats a birthday party with out a jumping castle.

Charlie and Alanh got feathers on there face to match the Little Indian theme of the party.

See the cake in the back ground it was a teepee....the kids loved it...
Happy Birthday Charlie

Birthday and Sewing

This most handsome young man turned 13 yesterday...

Its hard to believe my youngest is 13,,,
Family birthdays are getting smaller all the time now that 4 of 7 of the kids live away...
We tease Will that he is like a only child hahahah

Robbie has moved out to the Donna the Donga
This was my sewing room that I loved, then Ben moved in there and now that he and Cassie are married and moved away I thought I would get it back...
Wrong...

Robbie being 18 (and the fact that it has air con) has moved in there,,,
So I get a spare room...
I will keep the single beds in here for now, but I have also moved my
sewing machine in here.

I also have more storage for my craft supplies that have been packed away
for over a year now.

I know this Horn sewing table is ugly, but it is so good to have all you need handy...

Yep this is it now, I've been sewing..
So I needed another table O and bring in the ironing board as well.
Next minute!!!!!! A mess..

I made my youngest grand daughter a little Easter dress and am busy making a romper as well.
Nice to have it all in the house, so I'm glad Robbie took Donna.....may be I should call it Donald the Donga now it belongs to Robbie...

A last photo of the birthday boy...

Markets tomorrow if its not raining.

Enjoy your week end

Blessings

Family Time....

They came and now they are all gone home....
Some week ends just go way too fast, but what a wonderful weekend we had. Babies every where getting to know each other...In blue is Mason, sweet Abby and our little Harrison.

Saturday morning was started with A photo shoot by a talented friend Rachel. Boy o boy was that fun, babies all crying Gracie walking of because well she dose not like getting her photo taken.....
But the older children got family photos done and I think all the babies got single portraits as well.
Will have lots to share when we get them back.

Love this photo of Jess with the little ones, and yes we made her wait so we could get a photo.
The big boys all went up to the farm after lunch to misbehave I mean do boy things, while we girls sat around and talked and ate and cooked and ate a little more.

The new outdoor room was used all week end and loved by all. Saturday night was a time of catching up with friends old and new and before I new it they were all gone and on there way home.

Then we had Sunday which was Fathers Day a day to celebrate those Dads that are enjoying there first Fathers Day and a day to remember the Father that taught them how to be good men, husbands and Fathers.
But the week end didn't finish there as Sunday was also Bruce's birthday, so Sunday night was finished of with a birthday dinner with Bruce's children as well....

Yep the kind of week end I call memory making.....

And now
I should be cleaning but instead I'm going to see how your week end was....

Blessing to all
Mandy

Pretty in Pink.

I wanted to show you the pink themed table setting I did for Alanah's birthday dinner last night.
Lots of pink and white flowers for the table.

Favourite table cloth and some plain white plates. Pink grapefruit drinks which tasted sooo good. This will Be Alanah's last birthday with us for the next 2 years so we wanted to make it a special time.

In the midst of the chaos around us we made a peaceful corner, as you can see in the background the painting is continuing and looks great.

Today I am home with a sick little boy so I have had a chance to catch up on a few things.
Enjoy your day.

Saturday part 1

A big hello to all. I know it has been awhile since I have blogged , let me share Saturday with you. It started at 5.30 am as that is what time Will came and woke me up singing Happy Birthday to him self....

Happy Birthday William..
Saturday William turned 9....and because it was a Saturday we spent it doing boy things.
Going to the Cadillac show for starters,
..Did you know Elvis got the first  pink Cadillac made....yep he got the first pink one for his Mum. So if it's good enough for Elvis it'll do me with matching caravan of course.

And
With matching tyre cover,
picnic basket and
Esky....

Now  about this 1956 caravan, every thing inside was still in original condition. and yes I forgot to take photos of the inside because I was to busy sitting in there dreaming...

There was so many cars to look at and Robbie and Cassie got there photo in the local paper. This was
taken with a 1969 Cadillac Hearse..

It was starting to get warm in the sun by this time and

I was in need of coffee and shade.
While sitting in the Cobb & Co museum coffee shop I noticed a house.

This house was across the road waiting for me to look at it.
Leaving the kids behind of I went to explore.

Isn't this a wonderful old house. I couldn't get any closer to get better photos, but look 2 levels and the garden looked to cool and inviting..mmmmm I could move to town for a house like this.

We had a wonderful morning out for Will's birthday. I will share later in the week what we did for the rest of the day.

I still have no internet at home but we now know the problem and are awaiting a new black box. A whole month with out it has been a slow torture.....
Hopefully I will be back to blogging again soon....

Enjoy your day
Mandy
