HARRY and CHARLIE
What a busy month it has been!!!!!! It ended with my eldest grandson Harrison coming down for his last school week of holidays.
Harry turned 12 on 18th and all he wanted was to fly down and see his favourite cousin Charlie and his grandparents of course....
We Stayed in Brisbane with Alanah and Shane picked Harry up and took him to the Pancake Monor in the city for his birthday lunch,he loved it...That evening we had a great game of Monopoly which Harry bet us all......
We then headed out to Dalby to pick up Charlie and catch up with Cassie and kids, it was so hot out there we spent a good part of the day at the pool and then a big water fight to end the day.......
We then headed back home via the game arcade which was so much fun.......I havn't been to one for a long time.....We then spent the next couple off days here on the farm and the boys had a great time together. All too soon the week was over and it was goodbyes.....Harry had one last night in Brisbane with Charlie and then flew home to his family that missed him so much.
I love that Harry wanted to come down and we had so much fun making memories.....He is now back in Ayr and started his first week at high school...
And here.....Time toslow down as January has been hectic but in a good way...We have been on the road on and off since boxing day catching up with kids and grandkids...Now they are all back at school. This is the reason though I stopped work so I could be there and spend time with my very large loud family........

William.......
At the end of last year William graduated from the Police accadamy....It was a long year for him living in Brisbane and being away from his new bride but now he is all finished...
Needless to say we are all very proud of him and he is making a fine policeman here in Toowoomba.....
It was an honour for us to be able to watch Will and 150 others graduate.....What amazing young men and women we have..
Sometimes it is hard to beleive that all my children are grown up with lives of there own, something about the youngest though isn't there.
I know William's Dad would be so proud of him as well as we all are....Life goes on and every one grows up.....
Have a great week all and thanks for reading a proud Mum post......

Travelling Granny...............
Hello to those that still follow me...
Ever since I closed the shop I have been away spending time with the Grand children.
Bruce and Will call me the Travelling Granny.....
I spent some time in Glen Morgan with Billy and MacGregor, as Cassie was not well.
I am so pleased I am able to now and go out and help my children when they need me.
When I got home it was time to give the caravan a good clean and make over.
I decided to make the van more me. Lots of vintage sheets to add color...
New cushions and a wall hanging....An amazing macrame curtain and I was happy with how it all came together. Then it was time to hook up and head north to Charters Towers.
We were going to stop the night but Bruce and Will decided we would drive straight through.....
All going slightly stir crazy by Belyando Crossing, which is 2 hours from Charters...
We got there just on sunset, so good to see my big boy.....We spent a week looking after Mason and Phoebe as Karen was away with netball. O how I loved spending this time with them...
Then it was back in the van this time with David, Karen, Mason and Phoebe. First stop
The Beach...We spent 10 days together holidaying....
Beach walking, cave exploring and lots of relaxing....
3 weeks we spent up north and I know for sure it is some thing I want to spend more time doing.
Back home and then I took Mum out to Warwick for Jumpers and Jazz....
Next stop
Goondiwindi........It was friendship day at Abby and Graces school so I went out to enjoy the day at school with them....I was only there 3 days but it was nice to spend time with them...
So you can see why the boys call me the travelling Granny hahahaha....
I am home for a while now as I also have to be Mum to Will who is still at school. This handsome young man is half way through year 11 now.....Time where has it gone....
I hope you enjoyed that Quick tour with me....I will leave you with some pics 8 year old Grace took of her self on my camera...These will be kept for her 21st hahahaha

Where have I been the last 6 weeks
Not home...
The last 6 weeks has seen me out and about
a lot.
First I spent a couple of days with my Mum.
We went to the open gardens in Maleny. This was a feast for a gardeners eyes.
All these photos were taken in the one garden, after that I was so busy looking I forgot to take some photos.
Then we headed out to visit the girls out west.
First a overnight stop at Alanah & Cams in Dalby
And Charlie of course...This one is so cheeky, and look at those
Blue eyes..
Then we moved on to Glen Morgan to Cassie and Ben's...
To what is my dream house....hahah.
We took over Ben's saddle making studio.
To the scapbooking studio... I took all my supplies out and Cassie and I had a great time getting some much needed scrapbooking done. I just happened to leave it all out there when I left, guess I will have to go back.
We got the old wood stove working as it was cold and wet out there.
I taught Cassie how to cook on the stove and it has been going since..
Love these old stoves for cooking.
Jessica came for a visit to Cassie's as well.
Henry
Henry is growing so fast as are the girls.
Abby
Abby and Grace doing some painting like there Mum.
Grace
Hid and seek is always a favorite game with Uncle Will in the old homestead as there is so many places to hide.
Hide & seek
Soon it was time to say goodbye to Cassie and head back home.
Another stop at Dalby on the way home for a couple of nights.
Charlie
Morning cuddles
then back home for a little while...
Before long I got the phone call
That number 8 grand child was here...
William & David
But you will have to wait to meet her until the next post.
Blessings
Mandy
