Travelling Granny...............

Hello to those that still follow me...
Ever since I closed the shop I have been away spending time with the Grand children.
Bruce and Will call me the Travelling Granny.....

I spent some time in Glen Morgan with Billy and MacGregor, as Cassie was not well.

I am so pleased I am able to now and go out and help my children when they need me.

When I got home it was time to give the caravan a good clean and make over.
I decided to make the van more me. Lots of vintage sheets to add color...

New cushions and a wall hanging....An amazing macrame curtain and I was happy with how it all came together.   Then it was time to hook up and head north to Charters Towers.

We were going to stop the night but Bruce and Will decided we would drive straight through.....
All going slightly stir crazy by Belyando Crossing, which is 2 hours from Charters...

We got there just on sunset, so good to see my big boy.....We spent a week looking after Mason and Phoebe as Karen was away with netball. O how I loved spending this time with them...

Then it was back in the van this time with David, Karen, Mason and Phoebe. First stop
The Beach...We spent 10 days together holidaying....

Road tripping..

Beach walking, cave exploring and lots of relaxing....

3 weeks we spent up north and I know for sure it is some thing I want to spend more time doing.

Back home and then I took Mum out to Warwick for Jumpers and Jazz....

Next stop

Goondiwindi........It was friendship day at Abby and Graces school so I went out to enjoy the day at school with them....I was only there 3 days but it was nice to spend time with them...

So you can see why the boys call me the travelling Granny hahahaha....
I am home for a while now as I also have to be Mum to Will who is still at school. This handsome young man is half way through year 11 now.....Time where has it gone....

I hope you enjoyed that Quick tour with me....I will leave you with some pics 8 year old Grace took of her self on my camera...These will be kept for her 21st hahahaha

Easter......

I'm sure every blog starts the same....It's been awhile since I was on here....
Hahahaha true though...

This Easter
Bruce, Robbie, Will and myself drove over night up to Charters Towers
to see No 1 son....We got there in time for Breakfast Good Friday...

Had a wonderful time having all 3 sons together, this is something that I love and never happens near enough..
Phoebe and Mason are growing up so fast, and I had lots of granny time with them.
My little Mason is the most lovable affectionate little boy, he always is giving me cuddles and I miss them already.

This one is the spitting image of her Dad..And only has eyes for her Dad as
well....So much fun to be able to spend time loving on grandchildren isn't it...

Maddy turned 1 in March

I still call her our Miracle baby, not a day goes by when
I am not thankful for how perfect she is.
God is good.

And in exciting news
I got a new car....The kids nearly had a fit when i got it
and still tease me about it....This is not a people mover its a furniture mover hahaha.
With The Old Dairy shop jumping ahead in leaps and bounds I needed a bigger vehicle to fit
more in....It will get its first real road test this week as hopefully we are heading down to Tenterfield.

The gardens are looking lovely though dry, Bruce put a little tank on
the cubby to catch more rain water. It is so cute looks like it's always been there.

The Elder flowers are doing so well, can't wait to make elder flower cordial next summer.
And wine too..

Until next time...

Welcome Phoebe.....

We welcome

Phoebe Margaret Storey
to our family....Sister to Mason, who thinks she is pretty special...

David, Karen, Mason & Phoebe

Grand daughter No 4 and No 8 grandchild....Yep I'm pretty good...
hahaha

I tried to get in as many cuddles as I could while I was there
because I don't know when I will get back.
Look at that little rose bud mouth.

This boy here....what can I say!
So much like his Father....cheeky but yet so dam cute...

We did the tourist thing while in Charters Towers and went out to see the long horns....

A couple of cowboys I found....

Charters being a Gold mining town we thought we should give it a go...
And yes they found gold..

We went to Magnetic Island as well on the weekend...
Did I mention we had wonderful weather the whole time.

William and Mason love the beach and being able to swim in winter.

Then it was time to head back on the ferry, which Mason loved taking the car on the boat....

David sure is a proud Dad of his new little daughter and son......I am so proud of the Father Davis is and the caring husband he is as well, I know his Dad would be very proud of him as well.

All too soon it was time to go home....

I guess I will have to plan another trip to see all my children again sometime.....

Until then I better look after the ones still living at home.....

Blessings

Being a Grand ma....

Some times it is good to just stop and spend time with your Grand children or children..
Having Mason visit us on his own while his Mum was with her Netball team made this happen for us.

This child steals my heart when ever those big brown eyes look at me....
Harry came to stay as well boy did they have fun..

There was 4 wheeling fun and driving the tractor which Mas did not want to leave....Harry had fun showing his cousin the farm life.

Feeding the cows and sheep were a great hit with him.

It was double trouble
double noise
double mess
double laughter
double fun
I loved every minute of it.

How they have grown since this photo was taken....

Have a great week...
