Even though I am fighting a headache
the day is still full of wonder.
I have been quietly sitting in the sun
trying to remember how to knit. Last
year my MIL taught me and I made one dishcloth.
With the weather getting cool I thought it was time to start
again. I will learn one stitch at a time, make a good size
block with each stitch and then sew them
all together like a patchwork quilt.
Well that is the plan any-way.
Later on as my head feels better I am planting
seeds and hoping to get the grass mowed.
To me mowing is such a pleasure not a chore.
I hope you are all getting some
Autumn/Spring sun today and enjoying it...
Blessings
Mandy
I'm sorry about your headache and I hope it goes soon... Make sure you drink plenty of water, because it seems to help.

I just love the colour of that yarn and I almost wish I could knit, just to be able to use it!
I wonder if I could crochet dishcloths instead? I haven't crocheted in years, but I think I could pick it up again easy enough. ;-)
Wow, the tension on your knitting is so even. My tension changes depending on what's on my mind, or what mood I'm in. So, if I have to stop in the middle of a project, and pick it up later, it's obvious from the tension right where that happened!
ReplyDeleteI thought that I would really give knitting a go this Winter, but I am not so sure. I have a quilt to finish for 2 year old daughter, and it is my first quilt. Too much to learn and not enough hours in the day.
